Halloween children’s craft classes
The Una Bhan Tourism Halloween Children’s Craft Classes will take place on Tuesday 31st, Wednesday 1st, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th November. Classes run from 2pm to 4pm Classes are open to all children aged 6 – 12 years.The workshops with Anna and Eva will make something different each day to take home and includes snack. Ticket information for Boyle Musical
With just four weeks to go until opening night, Boyle Musical Society  are delighted to announce that tickets for their eagerly anticipated new show, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will go on sale on Wednesday, November 1st .Tickets can be purchased from the following outlets in Boyle. Taylor’s Jewellers on Bridge St., Mary Magee’s on Main St. and Unabhán in King House. ‘Joseph…’ will be staged in St. Joseph’s Church from Thursday November 23rd to Saturday November 25th and the performances will be at 8:30pm nightly. Tickets are priced at €15 but special concessions of €10 tickets for children, students and senior citizens, will be available for Thursday night’s show. Tickets will also be available at the door, each night. Because of the change of venue this year, there is no specific seat allocation but a reserved area will be allocated to pre-purchased tickets. The earlier you arrive at the performance, the better your choice of seat in this area. Tickets can also be booked by telephone on the BMS Ticketline, 087 2736740. This line will be open from November 1st. The show is based on ‘The Coat of Many Colours’ from the book of Genesis, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and text by Tim Rice and we are very fortunate to be able to present it this year, in the atmospheric surroundings of St. Joseph’s Church. Boyle Model Railway is a community project, being built by the community for the community. Boyle Men’s Shed is next door to the Courthouse needs help. Martin is busy with a beautiful river, harbour and hill scene. David is building a farm and Jonathan a football pitch. Can you help or do you have ideas. It’s Ireland!!!

Piano Practice and Exams

Christmas Special
Tommy Fleming will bring his special Christmas Show to Kilronan Castle on Sunday 3rd  December, 2017. Tickets are currently on sale in Kilronan Castle. Some of the proceeds from this Concert will go towards Ardcarne Community Childcare Facility. Details to follow.

Stonepark Warrior Challenge 2017

Class of ’75 reunion
A reunion of girls from the Class of 1975 from Scoil Chroist an Ri, Boyle is presently being organised. It is hoped to have a get together in 2018 to facilitate girls living overseas.

Boyle Food Partnership was established in July 2017, following the realisation that some households are experiencing food shortages due to a lack of money.  Food supplies are limited and available to those most in need, those who are going without today … not to replenish a cupboard for an unidentified rainy day. We look forward to serving you. If you or anyone you know is going without food due to economic or other hardship, please let them know we are up and running and ask them to get in touch. Boyle Model Railway
The Courthouse, Boyle are looking for volunteers to help build scenery. No experience is needed; just a bit of free time. The trains are set up and working so anyone interested can call in this Saturday between 11am and 1pm to have look around.

ARDCARNE GARDEN CENTRE
The Centre will host a FREE Mini Garden Design Consultation every Wednesday up until 25th October commencing at 11am until 12.30pm. Bring along photos and an outline sketch and get 30 minutes of ideas and inspiration from our professional Garden Designer on how to create your perfect garden.

Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Boyle Musical Society’s forthcoming production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ will be staged from November 23rd to 25th. The 2017 Show will take place nightly at 8.30pm and we are very fortunate to have permission to stage this year’s production in St. Joseph’s Church, so look forward to a spectacular performance. Based on ‘The Coat of Many Colours’ from the book of Genesis, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and text by Tim Rice, 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' is a show for all the family. It features well known songs like 'Close Every Door' and 'Any Dream Will Do'. Boyle Musical Society last staged 'Joseph...' back in 2001 and the photo is from that production.

Update 8th October

Town Enhancement Project News
Boyle Town Team and Boyle Chamber of Commerce have jointly welcomed the granting of €100,000 towards the Town Enhancement Project by the Department of Rural and Community Development. The Town Team and Chamber will now liaise with Roscommon Co Co to ascertain the finer points of the grant. The monies will go towards the Town Enhancement Project to include development and works to make the town centre more visually attractive, the advancement of the Scattered Hotel concept and the development of a master-plan for the former Royal Hotel building.

BOYLE GAA NURSERY PROGRAMME
The Nursery Programme is a series of fun based exercises and games to develop movement, motor skills, agility, balance, co-ordination, running and jumping skills. These skills form the basis for the later development of the specific skills of Hurling, Camogie and Gaelic Football. Registration will take place on Wednesday 11th October at 7pm until 8pm in Boyle. For boys and girls 4 to 6 years. Age 4 on the 1st January 2017 and age 6 or under on 31st December 2017. The Programme will start on Monday 16th October at 6pm until 7pm in the Boyle Sports Complex. Registration fee is €20 per child plus €2 per evening to cover the rental of the complex.

Rosary Rally at the Marian Shrine
There will be a Rosary Rally at the Marian Shrine, Carrick Road, Boyle on Friday 13th October at 6.30. Everyone Welcome!

Run Walk N Roll 2017
Now in its 22nd year in Boyle, will take place on Sunday the 15th of October at 3pm at St. Joseph's Hall Boyle. A percentage of the funds raised this year will be donated to 'Niamh's Journey There' as she continues her difficult journey! Check out this link: https://niamhsjourneythere.wordpress.com The theme of this year's run is 'Fight back against Cancer' so that we all come out and fight against it together, both for Niamh and anyone else who benefits from the funds raised for Cancer Research in Ireland. It is a 5.4km run/walk and we encourage everyone to come out and participate, fancy dress is welcome. Entry is on the day and refreshments will be served afterwards. Sponsor cards available. In excess of €160,000 has been raised for cancer research in Boyle, through this event over the last 21 years. Hopefully this money has benefitted people through their journey with cancer and will benefit Niamh on her journey in this difficult time.
